Key Responsibilities

 As the Programme Director for Integrated Care, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of our vision for Adult Social Care, ensuring residents have fair and equal access to support that enables them to live healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives.
  • Work with residents and partners to develop new ways of working in areas such as prevention and early intervention, problem-solving at the first point of contact, and responding to complex needs.
  • Drive strategic leadership and management, contributing to the leadership and direction of Adult Social Care and the council.
  • Foster a positive, development culture for staff, supporting and encouraging a representative and diverse workforce.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to make a strategic contribution and gain the trust and support of key stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Considerable experience in programme management.
  • Substantial experience in adult social care and/or health.
  • Excellent understanding of the current context of health and social care.
  • Experience in multi-professional and interagency working.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large and complex programmes within Adult Social Care or health.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients at all levels.
