Golden Lane Children’s Centre, part of Prior Weston School, is located within the modern, purpose-built Golden Lane Campus. We are proud to provide a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment where children are supported to thrive and achieve their full potential.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Education Support Worker to join our Early Years team, working with children aged 2 years. This part-time role, working Wednesdays 12.30pm, Thursdays all day and Fridays all day, offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development through high-quality childcare and education based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

About the Role

As an Early Years Education Support Worker, you will:

  • Support the delivery of engaging and high-quality EYFS learning experiences.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Support all children to access learning opportunities, adapting activities where appropriate to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the individual needs of every child.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Contribute to ensuring positive outcomes for all children in our care.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification recognised as full and relevant by the Department for Education.
  • Has a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
  • Understands the importance of celebrating diversity and promoting equality in the early years.
  • Values and respects the backgrounds, cultures, languages, and experiences of all children and families.
  • Is reliable, flexible, and able to use their initiative.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
  • Demonstrates a caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach.
  • Is available to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during term time.
