Boroughwide Operations Manager 

As Boroughwide Operations Manager, you will be responsible to (and deputise for) the Boroughwide Services Manager for the provision of an effective Waste Management and Cleansing Service. The post holder will have direct responsibility to ensure that the service is provided to the level set out in the Waste Management specification and as directed by the Operations Service Manager. Although you may not have experience in the waste field, it would be beneficial if you had an interest in this area.

You will assist the Boroughwide Services Manager in ensuring a high standard and efficient service by providing effective management of front line teams in carrying out general and specialist cleansing, waste, Winter Maintenance management duties as directed. You will have a good understanding of the managerial and technical requirements of service delivery environment. 

You will be responsible for the implementation of current and future service Transformation Programme and to lead and implement these throughout your services area. You will look to develop and manage work programmes, monitor service standards, ensure adequate resourcing and be responsible for all health and safety procedures in their area of operation.

The position requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form productive, professional working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups. You will you will need to demonstrate significant experience in a similar role. You will be required to work flexibly due to the variety of services the Boroughwide Team provides.
