About The Role

Job overview:

Come and join a supportive team who are working to make a real difference to those who have suffered abuse. Islington Support Payment Scheme team, are seeking a Senior administrator and payment officer to support the service, with all admin, telephony and payment processing tasks.

Main Duties of the job:

Your day-to-day duties will include providing a high level of senior administrator support to the service. Your role is to ensure all systems, processes and organisation is up to date. You will be working very closely with the Team members, Independent panel members, SPS Team Manager, Finance Department and Head of Strategic Programmes.

Another part of your role will be to ensure that payments are processed accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with auditing checks and guidance given.  

 
Details of role are in attached Job Description and Personal Specification; the main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Completing all daily administration tasks
  • Processing SPS payments
  • Support the Independent Review Panel Chair and members in their role and responsibilities
 
Closing date: Sunday 2nd February 2025 at 23:59
Proposed Interview date: Monday and Tuesday 10th or 11th February 2025
